Lemurian Marine

The regular soldier of the Lemurian Empire accompanied by his XL-01 "Defiance" battle armor. Every last one of the lemurian soldiers have access to their own battle armors in combat. This makes the lemurian army a fully mechanized one, making them far superior to other races.

The XL-01 is a light class battle armor and is actually the first one to be ever made. It has revolutionized the lemurian warfare and serves as the blueprint for all the battle armors, and even the EXO armors. The XL-01 is linked directly with the soldier's neural system and has the option to either fight by its companion, or have the soldier enter the battle armor to offer superior protection and easily engage enemy heavy armor.

The battle armor and the soldier both have built-in shield generators, stealth field, active camouflage and personal teleportation kits. The soldier is also accompanied by a personal tactical drone to further assist him in battle. The drone is used to spot and mark enemy units, and also comes equipped with tranquilizer and EMP rounds to disable enemies. The XL-01 has the ability to wield the heavier weapons, namely a heavy assault rifle and a heavy plasma cannon mounted on its back. The smaller arms on it are usually reserved for the soldier to also use smaller firearms, however it can still use them even without the soldier.
