Peter, I've been following your work for quite some time now and I can safely say, beyond any doubt, that I am an enormous fan. Let me say, first and foremost, that it completely sucks to see this incredible pic sullied by the stupidity of a handful of others, and with that out of the way I can now get to the important part.
I'm no scientist, nor am I an engineer of any sorts, and by absolutely no means am I an expert in any way, shape, or form on military technology or the like. What I am is someone who is drawn to clear exhibitions of skill, talent, and passion. You show all of these here. It's clear to me that this is the kind of work you absolutely love to do and I, for one, hope you never stop. Your skills have grown incredibly and this piece is one of many recent pieces that I feel are defining of your ever growing talents.
Honestly, I have almost nothing bad to say, and the only thing I was going to criticize was the fact that you didn't include a full background which is really nothing more than me nit-picking. The colors, the textures, and the lighting are all fantastic. I love that you chose to surround this behemoth with dozens of smaller craft to help give a sense of just how incredibly massive this thing is. Smaller craft that go completely unnoticed until you take a closer look, I might add. And looking at those cannons along the bottom, good lord I don't even want to think the kind of punch weapons that gargantuan would pack.
Awestricken. That sums up my reaction in a single word.
Now that's a MEAN lookin ship. Run, all you puny star destroyers!
Message to everybody: Yeah. So it's a bit big, and has some technical issues which I consider very MINOR when compared against most of sci-fi, e.g. "photon trpedoes" and crap like that. A: Still only 2.2 kM longer than the Executor in Star Wars. B: ALL that I would say is.... maybe up the weaponry to 2 magnetic accelerated shock guns, 20 artillery, a few hundred missle ports, and then between 2 and 6k laser turrets [just a helpful hint there, adjusting for the killer size of the beast not meaning to correct or beat you down or anything, PeterPrime. Just saying with all that room, more would get put in.]
Aside from that, guys, perfectly freaking fine. Pete here is still displaying far more artistic and technical capability than, like, at least 85% of the planet. [And yes, considering how much "art" is just crap these days, that's an undisputable point.] Job well done here. Everyone shut up and go find a LEGITIMATE arguing point somewhere.... And Vector, did you get your brain at a garage sale?... Cuz that 20km thing was golden. Kindly go fkurselvz with a cactus.
And thank you, ManiocTH, for advocating sanity. Extra thanks, too, for that kM/mi conversion thing. I've been too lazy to google it, though I've needed it so badly.
So, yeah. Everybody, go to hell. Manioc, you're wonderful. And PeterPrime, just ignore the worthless losers and keep doing your thing. I can't wait to see what you kick out next. ZOMGOFUAGAGIGANORMICSHIPSFOREVERYONE!!!!1
Wow what a moral dilema about a ship! First of all I'd like to say that your ship is awesome PeterPrime and I don't think nobody here has the right to call your writing bad. We all create our own worlds and our own rules and when it comes to Sci-Fi you can't apply traditional rules that YOU think are guidelines to any other persons work. So his ship is huge, so what? It's his world and he creates the rules even if most of you people don't like it. What? If I want to make a ship or a space station that's bigger than Jupiter I can't because it is unreal? Please! The consept of a cowardly emotional droid would seem dumb to lots of Sci-Fi puritans but go ask George Lucas if he gives a crap about what you people think while he baths in millions! Wanting to help someone make his stories more realistic is one thing but slapping your story or your thoughts on someone elses face just to make him feel like crap is just plain rude! Keep up the good work PeterPrime and feel free to make your universe as YOU want it to be. As long as you are happy with the world you create forget those others who can only feel good about their work by bad mouthing others.

It was a pleasure reading through your comment, really.
Hmmm perhaps you're right about the background. I'll change it in the future.
